Description | The project entails the construction of one of the two wind farms being developed by Ostro Energy Private Limited ( “Sponsor”), an Actis Group company, through its two wholly owned subsidiaries, Ostro Andhra Wind Private Limited and Ostro AP Wind Private Limited ( “Project Companies”). Each project has a capacity of 98.7 MW in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. These are Greenfield projects located in Ramagiri, Kambadur and Kananganapalli Mandal of Anantapur District in Andhra Pradesh. The SPVs will also sign a comprehensive O&M contract with Suzlon. The off taker for the Projects will be Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited, a state owned utility. The total project cost for each project is estimated at about $123.8 million equivalent. Financing for this project comprises an IFC ‘A’ Loan of up to $29.5 million (INR 2 billion) and mobilization of up to $61.9 million (INR 8 billion) along with equity of $32.4 million.
