Description | The proposed project seeks to support PT. Summit Oto Finance (“OTO”), an existing IFC client and a growing player in the motorcycle financing sector in Indonesia, by providing a dual currency loan facility to support OTO’s growth and expansion plan to more frontier areas (the “Project”). This proposed Project is IFC’s second round financing to OTO as in 2008, IFC provided a senior local currency loan amounting to US$45 million equivalent in rupiah which was fully disbursed and has been completely utilized. The proposed Project is consistent with IFC’s country and financial markets objectives of increasing both rural and urban incomes as it seeks to improve access to finance to low income households for acquiring personal transportation, critical to their business needs and mobility. |
