OurCommunity Residential Community

under construction

OurCommunity is a 280-acre master-planned neighborhood in Ferris, Texas, designed to provide long-term housing for formerly homeless individuals who are elderly, chronically or terminally ill, or disabled. The project is led by the Christian nonprofit OurCalling and aims to serve a population that often falls through the cracks of traditional housing programs. The community will feature 500 homes in distinct neighborhoods, a central services building with a medical clinic, cafeteria, and other resources, and a septic treatment plan as part of the second phase.
