Description | The Outer Dowsing offshore wind farm project, located approximately 54 km off the Lincolnshire coast, will comprise up to 100 wind turbine generators, an offshore accommodation platform, up to six offshore transformer substations, up to two offshore reactive compensation platforms, and up to four export cables making landfall at Wolla Bank and continuing underground to a new substation at Surfleet Marsh. The project will deliver 1.5GW of offshore wind capacity, contributing to the UK Government's target of 50GW of offshore wind by 2030 and supporting national net-zero ambitions. |
