Outplay Films - Reinvestment on the Acquisition and Promotion of Non-National European Films

Outplay Films aims to increase its competitiveness on the European market by increasing its investment in non-national films and their promotion at an international level. The company is planning to invest up to 75% of the budget in the acquisition of the World Rights for one or more European films and the remaining part (25% or more) on marketing and promotional costs, combining the funding grant with private investments to maximize the outcome and revenues of the film/s. To achieve this goal, Outplay Films will implement a well-established distribution strategy, aimed at finding an adequate international premiere for the film/s, targeting A-list festivals (Cannes Film Festival, Berlinale, Venice Biennale Cinema, Toronto International Film Festival).
