Description | Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) and NATO allies, including the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden, agreed to explore establishing a dedicated PAC-3 missile maintenance facility in Europe. The facility would support regional maintenance and sustainment of PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) and PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI) interceptors. The project aims to strengthen NATO integrated air and missile defense readiness by providing in-region support capabilities. This initiative follows a previous framework agreement aimed at tripling PAC-3 MSE production capacity and a separate $4.7 billion U.S. contract to support increased PAC-3 MSE production during 2026. |
