Description	Pacifico Mexinol is a methanol production facility under development in the northern Mexican state of Sinaloa. It is expected to produce more than two million tonnes a year of green and blue methanol from 2029. The project includes 1.8 million tonnes per year of blue methanol made from natural gas with carbon capture, and 350,000 tonnes per year of green methanol made using 210MW of electrolysers. Siemens Energy is involved in front-end engineering design for the green methanol side. The project is being developed by Transition Industries in conjunction with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
