The general objective for the Paddle for the Earth project is to promote sustainable kayaking and canoeing practices, raise awareness about the impact of climate change on outdoor sports activities and the environment, and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among people of all ages and backgrounds. Through the implementation of eco-friendly practices and the promotion of physical activity and healthy lifestyles, the project aims to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive society. Project activities: 1. Organize educational workshops and seminars on environmental sustainability and eco-friendly practices in kayaking and canoeing 2. Host clean-up events along the river or lake where the kayaking and canoeing activities take place, in collaboration with local environmental organizations 3. Offer outdoor sports activities to underserved populations, such as residents of Caritas, to promote healthy and active lifestyles for all: 4. Organize competitions and tournaments that prioritize eco-friendly practices and raise awareness about climate change 5. Produce educational materials (such as brochures or online resources)
