The project involves operations, management, and maintenance as well as the design, improvement, upgrade, rehabilitation, and expansion of water supply and sanitation facilities within the service area of Pagsanjan Water District (PAGWAD) in Pagsanjan, Laguna, Philippines. Laguna AAAWater Corporation will serve as the contractor or agent of PAGWAD. Laguna AAAWater Corporation is a subsidiary of Manila Water Philippine Ventures, Inc., which in turn is wholly-owned subsidiary of Manila Water Company, Inc. Laguna AAAWater is also described as a public-private partnership between the Provincial Government of Laguna. The project that has an estimated capital expenditure program of PHP 173 million or $ 3.28 million. It is estimated to deliver a potential billed volume of 9.57 million liters per day. The agreement stipulates that the project will run for a period of 16 years until 30 September 2035.
