The project involves a 1.4 km cable car line from near Yatri Niwas in Pahalgam to Baisaran, with 9.13 hectares of land required from the Forest Department. The Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation (JKCCC) has floated tenders and allotted the work to Ronmas India Pvt. Ltd. However, work has not begun due to the post-Pahalgam scenario. The project is estimated to cost Rs 100-120 crore and is expected to be completed within 18 months. |
