PAIX Data Centers capacity expansion

The project comprises the expansion of a data center facility of 1.2 MW in Accra, Ghana. The sponsor is PAIX Data Centres. Africa50, an infrastructure investor and asset manager, backed by African and global capital, committed $20 million in equity investment to PAIX Data Centres in 2022 to support the company’s expansion into new markets and the upgrade of current facilities. The sponsor announced around May 22nd, 2024 that the expansion funds will be allocated to the facility in Accra.
