Description | The PAK Lithium Project is a new lithium mining development in Northwestern Ontario. It is the first project to be accelerated under Ontario's One Project, One Process (1P1P) framework, aimed at speeding up approvals for new mining projects. The project includes the approval of new high capacity electrical infrastructure to serve the mining property located 175 kilometres north of Red Lake, Ontario. The province is also engaging with local stakeholders and Indigenous communities to accelerate the development of a new transmission line between Dryden and Red Lake to meet future electricity demand. |
