Description	The 30-year concession includes designing, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the airport. Concessionaire will be responsible for transforming the Soto Cano military airbase into a new civilian airport. In April 2016 Honduras awarded the German-Honduran consortium Inversions Emco the concession contract. The SPV responsible for the project is Palmerola International Airport SA de CV as Concessionaire. Total project cost is 209 USDm which were provided by: Honduras Spain Fund - 53 USDm Contribution Government of Honduras - 69 USDm Concessionaire Contribution - 87 USDm Financial closure was achieved in August 2020. Palmerola Airport commenced construction works on 05-Dec-2016, scheduled for conclusion on Jan-2019.
