Description

The proposed improvements include the construction of four new crosswalks; one on Cascade Palmetto Highway (SR 154) and three raised crosswalks (Fulton County Type 2 speed tables) on Carlton Road with installation of sidewalks and curb and gutter on the north side of Carlton Road between Palmetto Elementary School and Cascade Palmetto Hwy to the east and Brentwood Drive to the west of Palmetto Elementary School excluding the existing sidewalk in front of the school. Drainage systems are also proposed to minimize runoff spread rates along the proposed curb and gutter sections. This project is part of the Georgia Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) Program.
