Pan African Mintails plans to expand its gold production capacity from 50,000 ounces annually to approximately 100,000 ounces through an integrated facility development involving the Soweto Tailings Retreatment circuit. The project involves processing 600,000 tons of material per month at the Mogale processing plant in Johannesburg, South Africa, leveraging existing infrastructure to optimize capital efficiency and operational synergies. The expansion aims to double production capacity, reduce environmental liabilities through tailings retreatment, and achieve a payback period of two to three years.
