Established in 1998, Pan Group (“PAN” or the “Group”) is an existing IFC investee in Vietnam and a publicly listed group of agribusiness companies aiming to benefit from the fast growing and fragmented agricultural and food sectors in Vietnam.  PAN currently controls the leading distributor and producer of crop seeds named National Seed Corporation (“NSC), a new flower and farming venture Pan-Saladbowl JSC (“Pan-Saladbowl”), an integrated pangasius and clam processor in the Mekong Delta named Ben Tre Aquaproduct Import and Export JSC (“ABT”), and an important cashew processor named Long An Food Processing Export JSC (“LAF”) in addition to its 43.7% interest in a leading confectionary producer Bibica Corporation (“BBC”).  PAN established two holding intermediary subsidiaries Pan Farm JSC (“Pan Farm” or the “Company”), which holds the shares of NSC and Pan-Saladbowl, and Pan Food JSC, which holds the shares of ABT, LAF and BBC. The purpose of the Project is to support the Company’s expansion plan in the agriculture and food sectors.
