Description
Description | The Panchgram project envisions the development of five ultra-modern industrial townships or "super smart cities" along the 135-km Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway corridor. The aim is to decongest urban centers such as Delhi and Gurugram by creating self-sustaining industrial and economic hubs. The project was originally conceptualized during the tenure of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar but was stalled due to land acquisition hurdles and administrative delays. Its recent revival has generated optimism among industry stakeholders. However, the project currently faces political roadblocks and opposition due to concerns over land acquisition and impact on farmers. |
