Pantheon AI Hyperscale AI Data Centre and Innovation Campus

Pantheon AI is developing a 310-acre hyperscale AI data centre and innovation campus in Topusko, Croatia. The project is worth €50 billion (US$58 billion) and aims to address Europe's data centre capacity gap by providing a gigawatt-scale facility optimized for AI workloads. The campus will support up to 1 GW total capacity with 800 MW allocated to IT load, integrating large-scale compute capacity above Tier IV availability. It includes a 500 MW on-site solar plant, 8,000 MWh battery storage, and four independent 400 kV transmission lines for resilience. Connectivity is ensured through four independent fibre routes and the GreenMed subsea cable to Milan by 2028. Construction will start in early 2027 with full operations expected by Q1 2029.
