Description

Description

Objectives and activities We are going to organise joint activities for table tennis players with disabilities from Poland and Serbia to increase functional abilities of participants. We want to promote healthy lifestyle among people with physical and intellectual disabilities. During common trainings, we would like to improve our skills in training and work with people with disabilities. We will discuss the functioning of Para table tennis in our countries and will try to elaborate effective methods of introducing people with disabilities to sport. We will promote beneficial effects of physical exercise on functional abilities. We will strive to ensure that both female and male players of different age, with different disabilities participate in activities. Thanks to that, we will ensure social inclusion, diversity and gender equality in sport. We will also get to know new forms of physical recreation in Partner countries. We will visit local places to get to know each other and experience cultural diversity of Europe. By organizing these activities, we aim to: a) promote healthy lifestyle, social inclusion and integration in sport by engaging people with disabilities to play table tennis together, b) exchange good practices, cultural experiences between Project Partners, c) promote table tennis as a valuable sport for all. We will be realizing it, by organizing 7 trainings and working meetings: 5 in different Polish cities and 2 in Novi Sad, Serbia. Beneficiaries Beneficiaries will be table tennis players with disabilities from Poland and Serbia.
