Description | Economic/Social Impact of the Project Mizoram is set to emerge as one of the preferred paragliding destinations in the country. In fact, paragliding has now become so popular that a Paragliding Festival was even organized in 2020 which attracted Paragliders from across the country. In order to provide further impetus to the sub-sector, the State's Tourism Department has formulated Aerosports Rules, 2021 to regulate the sector and set clear guidelines for private players to operate. The Government of Mizoram invites Adventure tourism service providers to tap into the opportunities present in emerging destinations in the state such as Serchhip, Aizawl, Champhai and, North Vanlaiphai. |
