Description | This project entails the development of a 100 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic power plant in Pabna, located about 245 kilometers west of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The facility is situated on a 400 acres of land. The total investment stands at around $150 million, of which $50 million loan comes from Asian Development Bank (ADB) and $30 million loan from commercial lenders. Project company is Dynamic Sun Energy Private Ltd, sponsored by Shapoorji Pallonji Infrastructure Capital Company - SP Infra (51%) and Paramount Textile Ltd (PTL). A 20-year power purchase agreement is signed with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) for a price $0.1195/kWh for the produced electricity.
