The general objective of the Program is to contribute to improving the environmental, health and socioeconomic conditions of the population of Parintins considering climate resilience criteria. The specific objectives are: (i) improve the quality of drinking water services in the urban area of the Municipality of Parintins; (ii) provide access to sanitation services in the area of intervention of the program; (iii) reduce the risk of flooding in the program intervention area; (iv) strengthen the supply and quality of tourist experiences; and (v) improve the commercial performance of the Autonomous Water and Sewerage Service (SAAE).
