The project consists of improving an existing trail network in the City of Corner Brook. The scope of the project includes the modification of an existing walking trail. Existing trail will be widened, resurfaced and illuminated to increase user group. New connection points will be installed on the trail to increase user access and integrate with existing facilities. The project will also include the trail-head and parking development. Various observation and rest points will be constructed to promote and educate on the Mi’kmaq culture. The project aims to improve access to and increase the quality of community, cultural and recreational infrastructure.
