Description

Description

Euclid Network's (EN) vision is to empower social enterprises (SEs) and their support organisations (SESOs) to drive positive change. This project focuses on exchanges with public authorities, reinforces the capacity of SESOs and raises their awareness about relevant EU policies through exchange and tools on data, research, knowledge, policy and learning, thus contributing to strengthening EC policies within the Social Economy. Our activities contribute to the following main objectives (expected outcomes) of this call: 1. Support the EC in its outreach activities and its mission at EU, national and local levels in order to increase awareness about, and enable the implementation of, EU policies and funding in the area covered by the call. (Activities: Exchanges with public authorities; EU Funding Toolkit; EU funding & policy bootcamps; webinars; help desk; and podcast). 2. Reinforce the capacity of the network's members, including through offering a platform for the exchange of good practices and raising their awareness about relevant EU policies. (Activities: Member engagement and community management; Member masterclasses; Member (knowledge) exchange; Communities of Practice; New member outreach and a SESO Development Toolkit). 3. Provide input for policy design and implementation in the area of the call by voicing the concerns and expectations of SEs, microenterprises and their support organisations/financial intermediaries in the various European countries.(Activities: high-level meetings and events; policy papers; round tables; a compendium of good policy practices; and a SE campaign around the EP elections). 4. Provide data/research on developments in the field of microfinance and SE finance which can serve as input for evidence-based policy making at EU, national and local levels. The focus can be put on broad overviews as well as on specific niche topics related to the field. (Activities: European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM) Surveys; SE industry surveys.
