The purpose of the project is to strengthen the partnership of the municipalities by the element of solidarity and voluntariness. The second purpose is to connect citizens from four countries after the COVID-19 pandemic. The project themes include: voluntariness, intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, European awareness, and impacts of the pandemic. The participants in the event will have an opportunity to democratically express their own opinions. The project strives to find mutual interconnections among communities of people by supporting understanding and interaction, diversity, tolerance, and respecting common values in favour of society and the EU. By involvement of the project activities and the current themes in the project, the contribution of the partnership to the perception of the EU as a safe place for all regardless of differences is shown. Themes of solidarity and the future of Europe will come to the fore. The project serves not only for raising the activation of citizens, but also for education on the EU. Within the project, workshops on the theme of the EU and its benefits will be implemented. Citizens will gain new impulses, due to which they will be in a tighter contact with the EU. The aim of such activities is to eliminate negative opinions on the EU. Apart from educational themes, also social activities will be a part of the project. These activities will serve for overcoming national and language barriers. Moreover, they will help with making new friends and thus the partnership will be strengthened both internally and externally. The project will become an important milestone as it is expressed by its targets: 1) Development of an active European citizenship 2) Promoting solidarity and voluntariness in the partnership 3) Educating on the EU and seeking solutions to the current priorities of the EU 4) Interconnecting citizens from various countries of Europe 5) Supporting diversity and tolerance, and respecting common values
