The Partnership on Peace (PoP) brings tangible improvements of SCI network’s capacity to engage EU citizens through coordinated activities focused on mainstreaming Union Values and to better measure their impact. The main objectives of the partnership are to raise citizen’s awareness and promote different Union Values; to engage EU citizens through local and/or cross-border volunteering activities; to train EU citizens and network members in different key competences crucial to act for effective social change; to support network activities through activity or research grants further stimulating climate action and inclusion; and, to promote network activities and their impact in a clear and consistent way. Internally, this framework partnership will focus on creating a well-organised, powerful constituency/knowledge management system and placement platform, and developing a system for systematic measurement of impact in order to improve management and steer the quality. Through mutual learning and training activities and awareness raising campaigns both online and in person (volunteering projects, peer exchanges, seminars, webinars, discussions, happenings, workshops, and other public events), and through integrated technological solutions, citizens of different backgrounds will be adequately supported on their path to civic and political activism, crucial in expanding horizons and the development of citizen’s voices on key topics and shared values, such as human rights and non-discrimination, inclusion, cultural and religious diversity, equality, solidarity, volunteering, participation, environmental protection and cooperation. Direct impact: 34090 EU citizens, 450 civil society organisations in 23 EU countries. Indirect impact: 625000 citizens.
