Description
Description | Pasquia Regional Park Board of Directors have begun making plans for the project to repair, upgrade and expand the combined shower and pool house. The electrical is a high priority as the building needs to be completely rewired to bring it up to safety codes, as well the inside reconfigured to allow for enlarging the chemical and storage rooms, and more space for the childrens change areas. The building also only has a small shower/washroom facility for each of the men and women; due to Covid and only allowing one family at a time in the facility, there is also a plan to expand to provide another shower/washroom facility to accommodate more guests while keeping them safe. The project will include: -An update of the entire electrical system and reconfigure the area that holds the pool chemicals so that it is a safer environment for staff, and will satisfy health codes. -Repairing the cinder-crete that is deteriorating and giving the rest of the inside a facelift, which includes adding and moving barriers for personal change areas keeping guests safe. -Expansion of the bathroom/shower space will begin to alleviate the congestion of waiting patrons. -Replacing the old boiler and water heater. |
