The envisaged project is processing milk. The factory produces pasteurized milk by processing raw milk. Pasteurized milk products are liquid products made from milk and cream intended for use directly by consumers. The installed plant capacity of milk processing is estimated to be 900,000 liters of milk per year. The total sales of the year are estimated to be 1,038,500. The total investment cost of the project including working capital is estimated at USD 1,200,000. The plant will create employment opportunities for 53 people. In Ethiopia, approximately 4.4 billion liters of fresh milk were produced in 2018, with 3.08 billion liters (70%) for human consumption; of this, 57% was consumed by rural households and 43% was processed and distributed through supply chains
