Latest data on numbers of the victims of human trafficking in the EU shows that there were 15,846 victims of trafficking in the period 2013-2014, but this is just a small proportion as most people go unreported. The Pathways project is a strong partnership bringing together front-line organisations working with P/VoT. The project contributes to improving the situation of Third-Country National presumed and identified victims of trafficking (P/VoT) and help them integrate in host societies. The specific objectives of the action are: Improved integration of P/VoT, capacity built among responders to support children and young people, capacity built and learning shared to support P/VoT at national and European levels. Activities will have a holistic approach, considering children rights and gender equality, and will consist of providing access to services and accommodation to P/VoT, facilitating access to jobs or vocational opportunities as part of a long-term support package. Training front-line professionals both to improve idenfitcaiton and integration of P/VoT and to identify and assist children P/VoT. Exchange visits between the UK, Italy and Greece will consolidate learning. In the short-medium term, 343 P/VoT will improve their wellbeing through integration, 80 professionals will receive expert advice, while 1275 responders will build their capacity through training and learning shared. In the long term, professionals trained will be able to assist 3 P/VoT per year. The following will be the deliverables of the project: a guideline to job accessof women P/VoT, a methodology to facilitate P/VoT’s access to services, an online training module on support to P/VoT, a practical guide for adapting ECPAT UK’s Participatory Youth Group model for other NGO, a chapter on child trafficking as addition to the Anti-trafficking Field Guide, an updated AGIRE methodology to identify and support child victims of trafficking
