Description
Description | SIGLA Studio completes Patio House in Cardedeu, Spain, a single-family home designed for a young couple with two children. The house is built within a narrow, deep plot forming a protective brick perimeter around two inner patios, which provide privacy, cross-ventilation, and daylight. The design allows flexibility for the family to adapt the house layout as they grow older. The house uses handmade bricks from a local artisanal kiln and incorporates materials like microcement, natural parquet, chestnut wood, and glazed tiles. The project emphasizes durability, environmental coherence, and a strong relationship with natural light. |
