Description | Jayprakash Narayan International Airport in Patna is undergoing modernisation to meet rising passenger demand and improve efficiency. The old terminal has been demolished to make way for new parking bays and a redesigned apron. These upgrades include construction of five new parking bays, redesigning the apron area to connect with aerobridges and a parallel taxi track, and a new 1,389m parallel taxi track constructed alongside the runway to reduce aircraft time on runway and increase flight handling capacity. |
