Description | The project is to establish a traffic control center (TCC) in the Traffic Operations Division Building and includes the installation of the first phase of a field communication system. Fiber optic cable will be installed along Dallas-Acworth Highway, E. Paulding Drive, SR 120, and Bill Carruth Parkway to interface with traffic signals at 17 intersections. The project includes renovations to space in the existing Traffic Operations Division Building and the installation of communication equipment and a video display system. |
