Description	InterSol AD, a subsidiary of Energy Invest EAD, which in turn is a wholly owned vehicle of Advance Equity Holding, began building a EUR4 million (US$5.86 million) photovoltaic plant near Paunovo village, in Ihtiman municipality, in mid-2008. The greenfield, 1 MW plant was implemented on a build, own and operate (BOO) basis and was completed in November 2008. In 2008, InterSol received a loan of EUR2 million (US$2.9 million) from EBRD's Bulgarian Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Credit Line (BEERECL). EBRD makes the credit line available through local commercial banks, which in turn on-lend to investors. InterSol signed a PPA with CEZ Electro Bulgaria in March 2009. In addition to the credit delivered in 2008, EBRD finalized the payment of a grant to InterSol equal to EUR0.4 million (US$0.6 million) in May 2009.
