Description
Description | "Project PAY DAY is supporting the implementation of the Pay Transparency Directive in Slovenia through following activities and results: - guidelines for organizations to (gradually) develop or restructure their job evaluation and classification systems toward gender-neutrality, - online gender pay gap information tool (GPG-IT) with guidelines and checklist for the assessment and comparison of equal pay for equal work and analysis of job payment data to identify gender pay gaps within the same employer, - training courses for employers, HR managers, accounting staff and labor representatives to support and monitor the implementation of the GPG-IT and, - awareness raising activities to promote the principle ""equal pay for equal work"". Project aims to increase the competences of employers, employees, and social partners in gender-neutral job evaluation and the design of gender-neutral classification systems, to address gender inequalities in the working environment. Developed tool GPG-IT will support gender-neutral job evaluation with checklist for the assessment and comparison of equal pay for equal work enabling social partners to conduct internal evaluation of the value of jobs against factors such as the level of skill, effort, responsibility and working conditions. GPG-IT will analyse payroll database and calculate gender pay gap indicators for individual employers with 100 or more employees. Calculated gender pay gap indicators will be publicly available. The tool is mainly intended for comparisons and calculation of pay gap within a company. However, as the national statistics in this area continue to develop, the project will strive to facilitate current sectoral, industry and occupational aggregates to be integrated into the tool in the future to allow for broader comparisons. As a sustainable solution the tool needs to be prepared to absorb these developments. Main aim of PAY DAY is development and implementation of pay transparency tool to understand the reasons behind persistent gender pay gap and close it altogether in the future." |
