Pays de la Sagouine Repositioning Project

The project involves the development of Le Pays de la Sagouine, which is an Acadian cultural attraction located in the rural community of Bouctouche, New Brunswick. The project scope include the construction of a new footbridge to Île-aux-Puces, where most of the existing attraction is located, as well as the construction of new buildings on the mainland, a new multi-purpose path that includes a nocturnal experience, a new wooden boardwalk with viewpoints, a new patio with kiosks, and all of the required utilities. The project will improve access to and increase the quality of cultural infrastructure, and will accommodate the predicted significant increase in visitors over the coming years.
