Koladeniya Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. developed the 1.2MW Koladeniya small hydropower plant. In April 2011, it was announced Property Development PLC (PDL), the property arm of Bank of Ceylon, acquired 94.6% of the equity in Koladeniya Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. for Rs. 24 million (US$0.19 million).
The project was commissioned on 25th April 2012, selling its output to the Ceylon Electricity Board.

Description | Koladeniya Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. developed the 1.2MW Koladeniya small hydropower plant. In April 2011, it was announced Property Development PLC (PDL), the property arm of Bank of Ceylon, acquired 94.6% of the equity in Koladeniya Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. for Rs. 24 million (US$0.19 million). The project was commissioned on 25th April 2012, selling its output to the Ceylon Electricity Board. Financial closure date was unavailable, but estimated at April 2012, commissioning date.
