The project “RADIOPEACE” is a 24 month Erasmus Plus Building Youth project proposal coordinated by MV International (based in Italy) with the participation of 3 NGOs from Albania, Bulgaria and Kosovo. The RADIOPEACE project, aligning with Erasmus+ Capacity Building objectives for youth, enhances non-formal learning for youth workers and students. Through music and movement, it promotes democratic values and intercultural dialogue, particularly targeting disadvantaged youth. It fosters the participation of smaller organizations and remote areas, bridging formal and non-formal education. By utilizing music and dance in non-formal education, the project educates youth on peace fragility, empowering them to combat hate speech and violence. Through cultural exploration, it encourages reflection on roots and fosters international cooperation among peers. Taking into account the socioeconomic background in partner countries, as well as the needs of young people, youth workers, and participating organisations regarding specific capacities and tools for addressing the situation effectively, RADIOPEACE aims to achieve the following objectives through the development of RadioPeace Training format and Guide for youth workers, and implementation of international and local activities: O1: Fostering peacebuilding, intercultural dialogue, respect for diversity and inclusion processes in Europe and the Western Balkans through Music and Dance. O2: Raising awareness about the variety of the cultural assets and traditions of Europe and the Western Balkans area- with a particular focus on the performing heritage- as well as about its positive value in promoting mutual recognition, respectful interaction, and a positive sense of cultural identity among young people in the two regions. O3: Fostering partners’ and youth sectors’ knowledge and capacities in using Music and Dance as an instrument of meaningful peacebuilding, reconciliation, intercultural dialogue and inclusion of youth
