Pearl Harbor Remembrance Bridge Project

The Maine Department of Transportation will be replacing the wearing surface on the Pearl Harbor Remembrance bridge (#2304) located at the intersections of Route 9, 27, and 126 (Bridge St.) over the Kennebec River on the Gardiner-Randolph town line. The wearing surface on Pearl Harbor Remembrance bridge will be replaced in kind, with a new 2â highly polymerized asphalt pavement. This new wearing surface will replace the current âRosphaltâ surface which was installed in 2008, and is reaching the end of its useful life. The maintenance of traffic for the project will utilize a directional detour, which will remove eastbound traffic to Randolph from the bridge during construction. Access to the east side of the Kennebec River will require traveling north to Augusta or south to Richmond-Dresden.
