Pedernales - Cabo Rojo - Energy distribution project

The Dominican Government opens its doors to the private sector and invites them to pay attention to the Pedernales Province to invest in the "Cabo Rojo: Pedernales Tourism Development" project, to be executed under the Public-Private Partnerships model, which seeks to convert said province and surrounding areas in a leading world destination in conservation tourism and a model of sustainable development throughout the Caribbean Region and Central America. To support the initiative, a public trust has been structured: Pro-Pedernales. The trust will be in charge of carrying out the necessary technical studies for the execution of the service infrastructures (roads, water, energy, waste management, among others) and will be in charge of initiating the execution of the complementary service infrastructure works necessary for the development of the area. Once these objectives have been achieved, the PPP Trust corresponding to the aforementioned project will be structured in accordance with the provisions of Law 47-20 on Public-Private Partnerships. The process will be opened when published the Terms of Reference and biding process for participation and receiving tellers of interest.
