Description | The Pellicano Drive Widening Project is a significant infrastructure effort in Far East El Paso, Texas, extending from Loop 375 to Darrington Road. The three-mile project includes enhancements such as six divided lanes, raised medians, and bike lanes. The project faced setbacks when the original contractor, J.A.R. Construction, was unable to complete the work and filed for bankruptcy. El Paso County has allocated $6 million to advance the much-delayed project, specifically for Phase 1 of the project, which includes the westbound lanes between Aircoupe and Loop 375. The project is managed by the Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority (CRRMA). |
