Pelly Crossing Pool Facility

This project consists of designing and constructing a new seasonal pool facility in the community of Pelly Crossing to replace the covered below ground existing facility which is in poor shape and has reached the end of its serviceable life. The new facility will replace the existing seasonal pool facility, which is operational from June through August, with one of similar size of approximately 130m2 including attached mechanical and electrical rooms, changing rooms and staff accommodations. During design, various options affecting energy efficiency and placement of the staff accommodations will be explored to best suit building function and operations costs. The new facility will repurpose existing infrastructure built on site such as the solar hot water heating system. This project will deliver improved access to quality community, cultural and recreational infrastructure in the community of Pelly Crossing.
