Pelly Crossing Road Upgrades

This project consists of the comprehensive repair of 4.1 km of roads within the Willow Creek Subdivision in Pelly Crossing, Yukon. This project encompasses the design and construction of approximately 4.1 km of roadway improvements, which include ditching, reshaping, the installation of a granular base, and bitumen surface treatment. These roads are categorized into three distinct areas: •Willow Creek Drive: Extending from the Klondike Highway intersection to Pelly Farm Road, this road serves as the primary access point to the Willow Creek Subdivision. While this is a Yukon Government asset, it is predominantly operated and maintained by the Selkirk First Nation. •Birch Crescent: Accessible via two entry points off Willow Creek Drive, this road provides access to private residences. •Pelly Ranch Road: This road continues from the bridge at the end of Willow Creek Drive into private residences and agricultural land. However, only a segment of this road will be upgraded as part of the current project.
