Pemberton - Regional Multi-Modal Transportation Hub - Phase 1

The Pemberton - Regional Multi-Modal Transportation Hub project (the Project) will improve access to public transportation in the Village of Pemberton by developing a Regional Multi-Modal Transportation Hub. The proposed facility will be a central location available to serve commuters from the region on a daily basis, year-round. The aim of the transportation hub is to enable the community to make more sound and environmentally-responsible transportation choices for commuting. By providing an accessible transportation hub, community members are able to cycle, walk or drive to a centrally-located destination to easily access local and regional transit and rideshares. The project work includes: - site planning, including geotechnical review and assessment, engineering; - site preparation, including grubbing and fill; - construction of parking lot - construction of changeroom/washroom facilities; - installation of management systems for stormwater, incorporating green technology; - installation of water servicing and irrigation - installation of lighting; - preparations for EV fast charging receptacles; - purchase and installation of fixed waste receptacles; - purchase and installation of covered bike storage and bike maintenance facilities - installation of site signage, including wayfinding and schedule/map signage; and, - related works.
