The wells are intended to prepare for potential Colorado River water cuts and support growing population and new high-use customers like the Amkor semiconductor packaging facility. One well is already drilled, and two are in the permitting process. Each well is 1,500 feet deep and expected to produce 5 to 7 million gallons of water per day. |
