The project comprises the construction of a green hydrogen plant in Perak, Malaysia. The facility will use floating photovoltaic power generation, storage, and logistics infrastructure. The site is a secondary development and utilisation of an abandoned tin ore lake. The sponsor is Semarak Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd (SeRenE), Malaysia, which secured funding from ??? private venture capital investors Capitale Ventures, which was finalised in Singapore on Feb 20, 2024, and with advisory services from Chalfouh LLC. The financial package amounts $392 m or MR1.88 billion.
