Performing the capital work to separate the drinking water and the sewer line as the water line is crossing the sewer line (phase 2 of 2)

After phase 1 (design) is complete, the drinking water line that is currently passing through the sanitary sewer line will be physically separated (phase 2 of 2). Objective: To separate the watermain from the sewer main as required by regulation. Scope: Purchase all required materials, excavate, traffic control, follow all pertinent regulations pertaining to water and sewage infrastructure, follow American Water Works Association disinfection procedure for new construction, provide manpower, perform required sample as per standard, backfill and cover as describe in drawings. Output: Eliminate the cross connection and leave pipework in a state which is up to code to ensure that water that’s safe for human consumption is delivered while ensuring the collection system at the location is also intact and up to code.
