Description | Perry Technical Institute broke ground on a new 42,000 square foot building as part of a long-awaited expansion project. The building will house the electrical technology program, a two-year program focusing on fundamentals for electrical trades. The facility will include seven classrooms, seven labs with real-world simulated installation spaces, a 20kW solar photovoltaic system, a rooftop solar lab, a multi-purpose room for group study, an indoor 6-vehicle garage, 226 parking spaces, and 26 EV charging ports. The project aims to provide students with more opportunities to expand their skill set and better prepare for the workforce. |
