Description
Description | Province Group, a California-based developer, plans to build a data center campus on about 217 acres of the former Champion Farm property in Perry Village. The project includes six 200,000-square-foot buildings, each 65 feet tall. The data center would generate significant property tax revenue and payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT) to local beneficiaries. A local grassroots organization, Protect Perry and Lake Erie, has initiated a petition to regulate data centers in the village, requiring financial guarantees from developers before granting tax incentives. |
