Perth Ferry Expansion

planned

The project involves the expansion of Perth's ferry network with the construction of two new ferry terminals at Matilda Bay and Applecross. The expansion includes new stops and the introduction of electric ferries to the fleet. Each terminal will have a fixed jetty, sheltered waiting area, covered hinged jetty, and floating pontoon for passenger boarding. The Matilda Bay terminal will improve connectivity to the University of Western Australia Crawley campus and Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, while the Applecross terminal will support high-density living and tourism in the area.
