Description | The Pesâkâstêw Solar Project is a 10MW solar project located approximately 3km south west from the city of Weyburn within the Rural Municipality of Weyburn (no. 67). The Project will have an AC capacity of 10 MW to be delivered to the SaskPower electrical grid. The objective of the project is to help SaskPower reach it’s goal of reaching 50% renewable production by 2030 while also promoting Indigenous owned and operated energy projects through contracts obtained with the First Nation Power Authority. |
